Information You Give Us

The only form on alwayscare.org that collects personal information is our volunteer application. When you submit it, we collect your first and last name, your phone number, your city, the kind of volunteering you are interested in, and any optional note you choose to add.

We do not ask for your email address, date of birth, identity documents or payment details anywhere on this website. You provide your details voluntarily, and you can always contact us by phone or email instead of using the form.

How Volunteer Applications Are Handled

When you submit the form, your details reach our city coordinators through our own internal systems, so that a coordinator in your city can get in touch with you.

We keep your details for as long as we need them to stay in touch with you about volunteering. If you would like them removed, write to us and we will remove them.

We use these details only to contact you about volunteering. We do not sell, rent or trade them, and we do not use them to send you marketing messages you have not asked for.

Location Information

So that you can reach the nearest ambulance or clinic quickly, this website may ask your browser for your location. Your browser will always ask your permission first, and you can decline it or withdraw it later in your browser or device settings.

When you allow it, your approximate coordinates are used within your own browser to sort ambulances and clinics by how close they are to you. If you ask for driving directions, your coordinates are also sent to a third-party mapping and route calculation service so that the route can be worked out. We do not store your location on our servers and we do not use it to identify you.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, alwayscare.org and its hosting provider keep standard server log files. These may record internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider, date and time stamps, referring and exit pages, and the pages requested. We use this information to analyse trends, to administer and secure the website, and to understand how visitors use it — not to identify individual visitors.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to volunteer applications and put you in touch with your city coordinator
• Show you the nearest ambulances and clinics, and directions to them
• Operate, maintain and secure this website
• Understand, in aggregate, which pages and services people use
• Measure how well our own awareness and fundraising campaigns are working

Donations

alwayscare.org does not collect or process payments. When you choose to donate, you are taken to the donation platform operated by Arham Yuva Seva Group on arham.org, and the details you enter there are collected on that platform. Card, bank and other payment details are handled by a third-party payment gateway; they are never collected or stored by this website.

The only information this website passes on when you begin a donation is the amount or monthly plan you selected and, if you chose one, the ambulance or clinic you would like to support.

Cookies and Analytics

alwayscare.org does not set any cookies of its own, and it does not store your personal information in your browser.

We do use third-party analytics and advertising providers to understand how this website is used and how well our campaigns work. These providers may set their own cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, and may record information such as the pages you view, an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and how you interact with a page. Some also record anonymised session activity, such as scrolling and clicks, which helps us find and fix usability problems.

To keep the site fast, these tags are not loaded straight away. They load only after you interact with the page, or after a few seconds, whichever comes first.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most analytics and advertising providers also offer their own opt-out tools and browser add-ons. Blocking them will not affect your ability to use this website, find an ambulance or donate.

Advertising

We do not display third-party advertising on alwayscare.org. This website carries no ad networks, banner advertisements or sponsored content.

We do advertise our own work elsewhere on the internet, and we use conversion measurement tags from our advertising provider to see which campaigns bring people to this website. These tags tell us that a visit or an action happened; we do not use them to build profiles about you. We have no access to or control over cookies set by any third party.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities on alwayscare.org and to information shared or collected on this website. It does not apply to information collected offline, over the phone, or at our clinics and camps, and it does not apply to other websites operated by Arham Yuva Seva Group, including arham.org, which publish their own policies.
